ITINERARY
Day 1:
Guests will fly from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport. The flying time is approximately 3.5 hours and guests can fly with Air Mozambique or SA Airlink (note that SA Airlink does not fly on a Thursday and a Sunday).
On arrival in Vilanculos you will be met by an Anantara representative who will assist guests to the waiting vehicle which transfers them to the Jetty. Guests enjoy a refreshing beverage before climbing aboard the boat for the 45 minute trip to the island. Guests are requested not to wear expensive shoes as they will need to wade through the water before getting on the boat.
Enjoy 7 nights at Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort and Spa on a fully inclusive basis
Day 8:
After breakfast guests are taken to the landing / boat launch from Bazaruto Island to Vilanculos and on to a road transfer to Vilanculos Airport for their flight back to Johannesburg.

Anantara is situated on the 12 000 ha Bazaruto Island, part of the jewel-like Bazaruto Archipelago which lies 30 km east of mainland Mozambique and features white sands, large sand dunes and freshwater lakes surrounded by the translucent blue of the Indian Ocean. There are no shops on Bazaruto, only natural beauty, pure white beaches and a wonderland of fauna and flora to discover. Preserving the natural environment is of paramount concern and the island was declared part of the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park in 1971.
