Conditions of Business for O’Live To Travel Pty Ltd
(Reg # 2015/422113/07)

  1.  O’Live To Travel’s advertised scheduled tours and quotations are subject to availability of accommodation, air, land and sea transportation at the time of booking services.
  2. Quotations are only valid if a firm booking for the tour (s) is received in writing within 30 days. Thereafter the validity of this quotation ceases automatically.  Any changes in the itinerary may result in price difference.
  3. This quotation is based on presently known rates. Should prices change due to increases e.g. hotel rates, sales tax, VAT, entrance fees, and tourism levy etc. O’Live To Travel reserves the right to amend the quotation accordingly without prior notice.
  4. Luggage & personal possessions are carried at your own risk. O’Live To Travel accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to luggage or personal possessions of passenger.
  5. Full payment is required within the day of booking of flights, irrespective of individual flights or flights part of a packaged tour. Should we book a flight on your behalf it will be subject to the conditions of the respective airline, including but not limited to deposit/full payment and cancellation conditions.
  6. Tailormade Tours:  A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation.  The Balance is payable one week thereafter, depending on the selected properties and services.  There are certain properties that do require full payment especially during high season.  Full payment is required within the day of booking of flights (as mentioned in .5). 
GROUPS & FIT’S PAYMENT – CANCELLATION: 
  1. Reservations and tour processing only becomes factual if a written booking request is received. A 20% deposit is required for confirmation of booking.  During peak seasons and if requested by a supplier, the deposit may be required earlier, or non-refundable.
  2. Full payment is due 45 Days before arrival.  O’Live To Travel reserves the right to withdraw all services completely if payment conditions are ignored.
  3. If a tour is cancelled 45 – 30 days prior to arrival, O’Live To Travel reserves the right to recover i.e issue an invoice for any costs incurred or charges received from suppliers up to the date of cancellation, ZAR 450 admin fee plus any airline charges, which could be up to the full value of the ticket.
  4. If the tour is cancelled in its entirety within 29 – 15 days before the intended arrival, O’Live To Travel reserves the right to levy/charge 50% cancellations fees based on the minimum number of participants quoted for. If the tour in its entirety is cancelled less than 15 days before the intended arrival in Southern Africa, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total tour price based on the maximum number of passengers, or based on the preliminary rooming list received will be levied. An administration fee of ZAR 450 will be charged plus any airline charges, which could be up to the full value of the ticket.
  5.  Cancellation / Amendment fees for individual passengers:  All cancellations must be given in writing to O’Live To Travel (Pty) Ltd (e-mail: olive2travelinfo@gmail.com.
    Cancellations/Amendments are subject to the following conditions:
    Cancellations made more than 30 days of date of arrival 25% of total cost.
    Cancellations made within 30 days of date of arrival 50% of total cost.
    Cancellations made within 15 days of date of arrival 100% of total cost.
  6. GROUP POLICIES:
    45 days prior to arrival of a group, a final rooming list is required, together with payment in full for all contracted services. Any cancellations within the specific timeframes will attract a cancellation fee, ZAR 450 admin fee plus any airline charges, which could be up to the full value of the ticket.
  7. O’Live To Travel is under contract with local and International suppliers regarding above-mentioned cancellation and payments conditions and are thus forced to abide by these rules and are forced to equally make the agent / passenger responsible.
  8.  Bank Transfers/ Foreign Payments
  9. Differences due to currency fluctuations will not be accepted by O’Live To Travel.
  10. The amount deposited into the O’Live To Travel Bank account must be equivalent to the amount on the invoice or quote given.
  11.  O’Live To Travel will only be responsible for the local bank charges and not for any foreign or ‘in-between’ charges by other banks/institutions.
  12. Payments of the invoices/quote should be transferred in ZAR (South African Rand) for services in South Africa.  Payments are to be made via bank transfer in South African Rand unless alternative arrangements have been made.  Payments for invoices for the Mediterranean should be transferred in EUR for services in Greece, Italy and Turkey.  Payments for invoices for Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique should be transferred in USD.
  13. The preferred form of payment is by EFT.   Alternative arrangements can be made to pay by Credit card (master card and visa) and is dependable on the full amount paying.  Bank/credit card charges apply with these fees being for the passenger’s account.
  14. All O’Live To Travel Tours reserves the right to interrupt/cancel a tour if outstanding amounts due to above-mentioned conditions are disregarded.
Rooming lists:
60 days before arrival in Southern Africa – preliminary rooming list
45 days before arrival in Southern Africa – final rooming list
Neither O’Live To Travel or any person or agent acting on behalf of the company shall be liable nor responsible for any damages or loss sustained by any passenger as a result of any act or whatever cause or omission whatsoever of any hotel, airline or other person, notwithstanding the fact that O’Live To Travel acted as agent of such hotel, airline or other person.
